Overview

Careers Made in Chesterfield (CMiC) consists of a series of interactive workshops delivered in partnership with local employers. Its purpose is to give students and young people a deeper understanding of local career opportunities, while helping to develop a talent pipeline for the region’s businesses. A series of interactive workshops and experiences of work showcase the key skills, qualifications, and training pathways needed to secure high-quality employment in the area, and offer young people valuable, hands-on experience of real working environments. It is funded by Chesterfield Borough Council as part of their Skills Action Plan.
