What is Youth Action?
Youth Action is part of a 10-year commitment made by community organisations, public services, funders, employers, and local leaders. Our aim is to make Bolsover a better place to grow up by ensuring that every young person has…
- access to support and opportunities which encourage them to thrive;
- the confidence and skills needed to take advantage of opportunities that come their way;
- the chance to influence decisions that affect their lives at local and regional levels.
Our aim is for Youth Action to be shaped and driven by young people from the start, which is why we are currently inviting anyone aged 12-25 and living in Bolsover District to get involved by…
- Participating in community engagement sessions.
- Becoming a member of the ‘Youth Action Forum’ to shape the youth offer plan.
- Training to be a ‘peer researcher’ to help capture the personal views and experiences of young people in their community.
- Joining the ‘Creative Collective’ to lead on marketing and communications.
- Attending the Youth Action Summit on Friday, 20th November 2026.
