CEIAG Overview
Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) is a range of activities – including career interviews, one-on-one careers guidance, action planning and transition support. It is designed to help students and young people make informed decisions about their future educational and career paths.
We aim to deliver high-quality careers guidance that is personalised to work for both your school and your students. Our Level 6-qualified practitioners deliver the majority of CEIAG. We also offer employability skills work to support young people to become aware of their skills and to develop other elements of their skills in preparation for their post-16 destinations.
We hold the matrix Standard, a unique nationally recognised quality standard which assesses and measures the information, advice, and guidance services that ultimately support individuals in their choice of career, learning, work, and life goals. The most recent matrix Assessment noted the genuine commitment from staff to provide quality and young person-centred services.
“The advice really helped me to think about my subject choices to fit with what I want to do for a job in the future.” – Student

Gatsby Benchmarks
All our programmes are mapped against the Gatsby Benchmarks. The benchmarks were updated in May 2025 and include updates to each summary and set of measurable criteria. View the Careers guidance and access for education and training providers.
CEIAG focuses on Gatsby Benchmark 8 but support can be tailored to support all benchmarks and to suit the needs of your school.
