Employer Offer - Supported Insight Scheme
Employer Offer - Supported Insight Scheme

Overview

The Supported Insight Scheme® supports Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) and Alternative Provision schools to enable their learners to be prepared for an internship or an employment pathway. Each programme includes a six-week placement (one day per week) hosted by an employer, alongside four weeks of wrap-around careers and employability delivery to prepare students pre-placement and consolidate learning afterwards.

“A fantastic insight for our pupils. They were able to meet other members of staff and apprentices just starting out in their careers . The sessions were hands-on with pupils either building, seeing or listening to various tasks set by the team. Thanks to DEBP this really has been the best insight that our budding engineers could have had into the industry.” – Teacher
